1 package (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
˝ cup marshmallow creme
12 large strawberries
12 fresh or canned pineapple chunks (1 inch pieces)
12 frilled toothpicks
24 mini chocolate chips
Beat cream cheese and marshmallow creme in medium bowl with mixer on high speed until fluffy. Place cream cheese mixture in decorating bag with a #17 start tip or in a resealable plastic food bag.
Cut strawberries crosswise in half. Thread strawberry piece(The one for the santa hat), pineapple chunk and remaining strawberry piece onto toothpick; press chocolate chips into pineapple for eyes. Pipe cream cheese mixture onto strawberry hat for form fur trim and onto pineapple to form beard. Cover and refrigerate no longer than 2 hours. I found this recipe in the Betty Crocker December 2001 cookbook. I made them for my daughters kindergarten class and they loved it!!!
