Hello All!

The time has come to inform you all of what is happening with The Baby Pages ring.

After careful consideration, The Baby Pages Ring has moved over to Ring Surf. After receiving much input from ring members regarding the yahoo/webring merger, I really feel that I have no other choice other than to leave Yahoo/Webring. The most common complaints have been that you MUST register a Yahoo ID, and that the ring fragment is Java script, which will still exclude a lot of people. In addition to these, ring management has become quite a mess and the ring managers do not have the control or options once available to run a smooth ring. I am very sorry to have to move, but am very excited about all the new things that are happening.

The Baby Pages ring will become a part of a new site that I have started, called The Parent Site. I am hoping that this will become a community where friends can meet and interact, discuss, learn and contribute. Please visit often as information, articles and fun stuff will be added constantly. We have moved the Baby Names, Birth Announcements, E-Friends, message board and chat over already. We will be starting a photo contest for the younger babies, we’d love to have you send in your favorite photo. Have a look around when you get a chance and feel free to email me with any comments or questions. http://theparentsite.com

This means that all members of the ring will need to resubmit their site and place a new ring fragment on their page. I know this will be a lot of work, and again I apologize, but I am left with no choice. You will find the ring homepage here now, http://theparentsite.com/rings. The requirements are basically unchanged, please give them a read and then submit your site.

I would love to hear from you if you have any comments or questions. Thank you for your patience, understanding and support.

Sincerely,

Kelly
